A major news stories of the past week was that the Lower Merion school district in Philadelphia was caught remotely activating student webcams and observing them remotely. A clip from an episode of Frontline that aired in June 2009, however, proves that this is a larger issue and is happening in NYC schools as well, and who knows where else.
